Summary:

In a catalog of observations for the department of Allier in the ufology magazine Ouranos New Series #7 of the 2nd quarter of 1973, one learns that on Sunday, October 10, 1954, at 06:10 p.m. in Saint-Pourçoin-sur-Sioule, towards the bridge over the Sioule, Mr. Portillo saw above the the Briailles hillock a luminous disc of 2 to 3 meters in diameter moving rapidly toward Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand.

The source is said to be the newspaper La Montagne, of Aurillac, for October 13, 1954.

That Sunday, towards the bridge over the Sioule, Mr. Portillo saw above the mound of Briailles a luminous disc of 2 to 3 m in diameter moving rapidly in the direction of Vichy, Clermont. (La Montagne-Aurillac for 13/10/1954).

The two authors indicate that in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule in the department of Allier, on October 10, 1954 at 06:10 p.m., a luminous disc moved quickly towards Vichy. It is said it possibly measured 2 to 3 meters in diameter.

The authors indicate that their source is La Montagne for October 12, 1954.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Allier in St Pourçain sur Sioule on October 10, 1954 at 18:10 hours "A luminous disc moves quickly for Vichy, it might have measured 2 to 3 meters in diameter."

The source is indicated as "Ovni, Premier dossier complet... by Figuet M./ Ruchon J.L. ** Alain Lefeuvre pub. 1979".
