Subject: observation in Grenoble in July 2002

One night of July 2002 above Grenoble (Isere). At aproximately 4 in the morning, clear and cloudless night.

The witness wishes to keep anonymity (to not be called crazy, according to his statements)

The witness unable to sleep because of the heat went outside on his balcony.

At one time his attention was drawn by a sharp gleam moving slowly. In the beginning, the witness thought that it was a helicopter. (One often sees the red civil safety helicopter, or the white helicopters of the SAMU [Medical emergencies transport service] above the city)

But the lak of noise by the craft made the witness feel very uncomfortable.
(In the valley of Grenoble, even at the peak hours and unfavourable wind, the helos are hear very well, then at 4 in the morning one would have hear it perfectly)

The object, which seemed to come from the valley of Gésivaudan, advanced slowly in direction of the south.
No esimation of distance could be made by the witness, except that it was located in front of the chains of Belledone (I insist, in front! not above).

At the end of about a minute of observation, and whereas no obstacle blocked the sight on the object, the latter disappeared suddenly, leaving the witness extremely perplexed.

J'ai beau retourner ce témoignage dans tous les sens, je ne trouve aucune explication "rationnelle" à cette observation. I in vain thought over this testimony in all directions, I do not find any "rational" explanation to this observation.
