Subject: UFO sighting Hello, I write to you to tell you of a sighting which was told to me by one of my neighbors. This person is somebody very Cartesian, and as it is often the case with the observers of UFOS, he does not believe in this kind of phenomenon, and still hesitates in interpreting his experience. He is somebody of very discrete, who acknowledged me of this experience with a certain embarrassment and fear of ridicules, knowing my interest with this topic, this person thought that I could provide him with an an answer, but naturally I am quite unable of, exept for the traditional explanation of the "weather balloon". The observation takes place in July 1999 if my memory is correct, in Saint Pierre d'Irube (France) in the Pyrenees Atlantiques (64). The witness was in his living room, in company of hisr father, on one of the walls of the living room there is a large window bay which opens on the garden. The observation happens during the afternoon and lasts a few seconds. While his is looking at the countryside thought the window bay, coming from the west and moving towards the east, a sphere of metalic aspect appears, it is like made of shining chromium-plated metal and presents a perfectly spherical geometry, it flies at approximately 2m50 above the ground in straight line from the west to the east at a slow pace. My friend then turns over then towards his father who is also looking in the same direction, he confirms to him to have seen the same thing. They followed the ball with the eyes, it continued its until it disappeared from their field of vision. End of the observation. I am well aware that this testimony is rather feeble in details, but it is a notable fact that my friend was quite impressed, even shocked by this simple ball who upset his concepts wich were so far quite "conventional", as Mr Vallée would know... Bye bye! |
