Subject: ufos obsevation In July 1954 (or 56, it is far but there were no satellites)) in CALAIS. In the full middle of the big flap, I scan the sky every evening to observe lights (about fifteen) moving in the sky. Looking like stars, one would now say satellites, these stars describe curved trajectories that are crossing, at high speed in all the directions like a group of gyrins (watery insects which live on the surface of water, it is the image which came to my mind by observing them).On would have said machines operated with an aim of testing our possibilities "come catch us if you can...." This horse-gear lasted nearly 3 weeks very late in the night (the weather was beautiful).The most incredible in this story is the lack of interest expressed by the population, only one mention in the newspaper "Nord Littoral" by a person who had been witness of the phenomenon while leaving the movies.A the time nof binoculars, no cameras etc...
