Subject: UFO sighting Hello Mr. Gross, (Please don't mention release my name.) What I report was observed in Quebec, not far from Montreal, in the suburbs. In February 1997, at the beginning of the evening, whereas the weather was black (although the sky did not seem perfectly obscure), and a relatively tepid time, I went to see buddies. I had already, at this time there, eventhough I had never seen a UFO in my life (yet), a love for the sky, and I scanned it without slackening... in the possibility that I should perceive a particular phenomenon. What a surprise! What I distinguished initially seemed to be a bird, with bent wings, I said to myself, gliding. It was, you see, an oval mass (not-enlightened) which seemed dark brown to some extent; not completely brown, but one could not distinguish his real color since all was dark: in fact, take any object and hold it in the «semi-darkness», you will see what I mean. What could that have been, at this time there, in winter, at the beginning of evening, being up there? I quickly dropped the hypothesis of the bird with bent wings, because the trajectory which it went through (horizontal, as a plane) was physically unrealizable for such an animal under this condition. Thus, always fascinated by my observation, in search of an explanation, I started to believe that it was a blimp! Oh, when my friends would know that I had just seen an airship, at the beginning of evening, the winter! To be sure that my eyes did not play a trick on me, therefore, I rubbed my eyes. But my head turned to the air again, the object, the thing, was still there. I was thus quite happy to be the witness of this machine, of these pilots having seemed daring to me to fly an airship under similar conditions! Then I resumed my road (only 15 seconds had gone by since the beginning of my story), still staring at the strange object of a good glance, and SUDDENLY, rather than to continue in the same direction, the object sped at a right angle very quickly (ex: if it went towards the West, it moved instantaneously towards the North) (probably at the speed of the light (or a speed by far higher than that of any aircraft from here), for it disappeared like a point; one would have said a science fiction movie)! And I found myself two feet in water, having broken the ice on which I had crushed, inattentive, but especially, because of what I had just seen, in complete amazement...
