Subject: sighting Hello, cheerio for your rather sympathetic website, I communicate to you a not very spectacular and not very recent sighting for which I do not have an explanation... At the beginning of May 1995 Fontaine in the suburbs of Grenoble, 10:30-11:00 p.m.h, on the uplifted terrace of a house, directed south and west (to the Vercors)... Initially a rather strong noise, as a breath I would say, as for the noise there are 3 people with me from which I ask "what's that noise?", one of them answers me "surely a helicopter" and I remember to have said that it was not the noise of a helicopter, I look at this time towards the west, I rise the head above me and I see passing extremly quickly a luminous arc of circle direction western south-south... and there is more noise [or no no noise anymore]. I specify that there were no clouds and that in Fontaine there are not large spots of light which light the sky, the color was of a beautiful yellow... But the sighting lasted perhaps 1 or 2 seconds... the light just passed above me to disappear towards the south... Moreover its diffuse because if I remember to have thought "hold on that would be near to a UFO sighting" I wrote the thing down only 2 or 3 months afterwards and I do not even remember the exact date. I think that this light was of approximately the size of 2 full moons in the sky, it was thus not small... Since then I think that the noise was not that of a helicopter and that if there were a correlation between the noise and this light it was going too fast for an helo anyway, remains a plane but to see it this size and at this speed and because I have seen 2 airshows with mirages [French supersonic jet fighter] and the patrol of France [French aerobatic team], I think that if that's what it was my tympanums would have exploded... And even then it passed too fast. Another assumption I saw what I had desired to see and I made the connections that I had desired to make. And behind that, aliens, but frankly what could they want to be fiddling about so undiscretetly above Grenoble, and why perform such an extremely noisy manoeuver???
