Subject: UFO sighting

First of all , congratulation for your initiative .
I stumbled on this page a little by chance , and I am laughed at
when I tell my story .
So here it is , it was at the beginning of July, this summer, I was on a
balcony to smoke a cigarette and it was not far from 2 a.m..
The balcony dominates the green valley in the haute savoy and the sight is
unbeatable, there wasn't one cloud, a beautiful night.
It was rather fast, from the corner of the eye I was attracted by a
sharp light, say like a camera flash but more persistent and
releasing a sharp and circular light.
Then the light turned into a flashing green, like a fireworks rocket,
but it was well too high and too far, it went straight faster
than a plane in the sky, but not high enough to be a plane, or
a helicopter. No chance that it was a rocket since it was completely
with the horizontal.
There was a slight trail behind this light which disappeared
very quickly horizontally, then nothing anymore... there was no
noise. It was fast, but I had the time to see the phenomenon well.
I do not have really any idea of what that can be.
If you ever hold an explanation, it would interest me
