Sightings ob unidentified objects.

I voluntarily do not give my name, nor my firstname.

Two observations were made during two years.

The first was made at home, in Lormont, in the Gironde, in middle of the night, August 2005. I awoke around two hours of the morning, for an unknown reason. During ten minutes, there was complete quietness. Then I suddenly heard a deaf noise, something which made like « VOuouououou » uninterrupted, then by the openings of my shutters I saw a very white light, dazzling, which passed to the top of the house. The objet passed on the top of my home very slowly, as if it sought to know what was inside then set out again.

I am not the only one to have seen that. Indeed, a little before, a friend living the nearby city, Floirac, who returned from work saw passing this which he described as being a large luminous ball. The Floirac observatory also saw the phenomenon and confirmed what we had seen.

The second observation that I made occurred on July 14 2006, at sea in the Mediterranean, on a ferry between Corsica and Nice. At approximately midnight, with some friends, we decide to leave the cabin and to go up on the main bridge of the ferry. The sky was cleat, visibility optimal and no wind. At approximately 00:20, my friends decide to return for they complain about the cold on the bridge. I decide to remain there a little while for I am lying on one of the deckchairs and I have no desire for moving and the cold does not bother me.

At 00:26, very exactly, appears in my fields of vision a luminous ball flying at a high altitude but not following any of the traditional trajectories for the apparatuses such as the planes or helicopters, or the satellites. Indeed, the craft, although it moved in straight line, changed trajectory unceasingly. (For understanding well, see the diagrams at the bottom of the page.)

The objet disappeared from my field of vision at 00:29.

I am certain that each of these objects was neither a plane, nor a helicopter nor any other known flying object for I am an amateur pilot and by consequence, I have a certain knowledge in the field of aviation.

You can contact me via my email address for further information.

Notes:

The first sighting is a perfect description of a meteor flyover from behind shutters. The fact that it was seen by the friend from a nearby city and that it was noted by an observatory are confirmations. (Observatoire Aquitain des Sciences de l'Univers, Laboratoire d'Astrodynamique, d'Astrophysique et d'Aeronomie de Bordeaux B.P.89, 33270 Floirac, France)

The second sighting is a perfect description of a passing satellite. The apparent changes of courses while on an otherwise generally straight trajectories is caused by moving masses of air of varied temperature in the field of vision. This is a known optical phenomenon giving the apparent "zigzagging" motion that satellites sometimes show.
