with this email I report a POSSIBLE sighting of an Unidentified Flying Object.

Duration of observation / from 20 sec. to 30 sec. max
Place / Chevenon (the Nièvre) in the vicinity of departmental road 13
At the level of the fields near the canal bridge (double road turn 90* with passage for one vehicle at a time)
Weather conditions / Cloudy, grey sky
Sighting conditions / Clear, no tree, no obstacle.
Despite the weather condition, it was clear

Using the secondary road which joint the towns of Nevers and Imphy, at the level of Chevenon, little after the bridge with the double turn, I realize of a not very frequent automobile deceleration in this area. Continuing my driving at a very reduced speed (approximately 30-40 km.h-1) I see small flickerings which are reflected on my windshield. Thinking that it was the reflection of my mobile phone, I remove it but the reflections continued and moved onto my windscreen. I then look towards the sky and I notice three lights in triangular formation in the middle of which there was another, red, point. I then decide to pull off on the side to take a photograph of the phenomenon. And to my great surprise while leaving the car, I do not hear a noise, nothing at all except the motor vehicle traffic (slowed down). The object flew very low (at eye sight 300-400 m maximum) and moved very slowly, without noise. I cannot inform of the speed in a very precise manner, but I would say approximately 10 to 20 km, well under the speed of the cars.

The object crossed several agricultural fields while passing above the departmental road. The yellow lights (which passed from the yellow to the red while passing by the orange intermittently) made think of 1000w projectors so much one could notice them, the light of the center reminded the one that you can see on the planes and helicopters (twinkling of small size and low intensity). The three lamps which formed the triangle showed the possibility for 3 well-defined and cut-out angles. What surprised me, is that while I focussed on the object, I saw it making a half-turn without leaning and without turning on itself (see sketch). Unfortunately, my camera did not want to function (nothing to do with the object itself, it is a technical problem). Then I moved my vehicle to follow this object and it passed again above me. I then lost sight of it.

Several people are witness of this phenomenon, some got out of their vehicle to look at it, and implied that they would contact the gendarmerie. I do not know about that, for I did not go yet visit them. I will ask tomorrow the Nevers-Marzy airport if they managed to see something at this hour on their radars. If it is the case, I will make a description at the gendarmerie.
