Subject: Sighting of Thursday 08/04/2005 at 10:50 p.m. Hello, I thought to contact you because yesterday evening (08/04/2005) after the broadcast by France 2 [National TV channel] about space, I made an observation. I live in DRAGEY close to AVRANCHES in the lower Normandy, I have a UFO website myself (http://ovi.net.free.fr), but I chose your site concerning testimonys. Yesterday evening, I went up to bed after the broadcast by France 2 on space, at the moment when when I closed the windows, I saw (initially) a very brilliant light of orange color. This light shone like a star, and I thought that it was the planet Mars! So I was really astonished when I saw this light moving. Indeed, this light moved in the direction of GRANVILLE -> AVRANCHES and passed above my house. Altitude is not easily definable because the weather was rather black, despite everything I think that this object (one can speak of an object) moved at a speed of 80km/h (approximate) and an altitude (approximate) of 4km, no noise. Observation of 10m duration before the object wass too distant to be seen. I live at the edge of the sea and I think that of many people noticed the phenomenon.
