Subject: Sighting report Date: Sunday 3rd September Aprox 1am Location: France about 60 miles from Calais on motorway My partner and I were on our way home from our holiday in the south of France, the Kids were asleep in the back of the car. It had been raining most of the evening but it had now stopped, the shy was black, no grey to be seen, no stars, no lights just that on the car. We were alone on this section of road there were no visible lights or other cars. I noticed something in the sky to my right and pointed it out to my partner. It was a weird thing to look at because nothing was there. Ok while this sounds weird, I will try to explain, this was something you could see because of the effect it was having around it. A plane produces a vapor trail and a boat displaces water to its shape, so if the boat was made of glass it may look like all you could see was the shape in the water. Now think of this but using a vapor trail in the air. What we saw was in some ways your classic saucer shape 3 rings getting smaller with 4 small circles in the smallest it had a rear as it was elongated almost to a point. The 3 rings appeared to be spinning in opposite directions an all this was visible only by the vapor trail/shape it made, a sort of grey colour. If the they had been grey we would not have seen it. I stayed alongside us, passed in front and basically circled us for about 10 minutes. We turned all the lights off, full beam, speeded up slowed down made no difference. We opened the windows and looked at it, no sound, just the car. It then drifted off across the fields and we lost sight of it. A very profound and weird experience If you're reading this its hard to explain something you can see only by its effects on other things. The glass boat and vapor trail is the best analogy I can come up with. You never have a camera when you need one. Cheers |
