Good day Sir,

I found your email address by googling "strange phenomena in the sky"

On July 3, 2005 at 1 o'clock in the morning I was in the island of Ré with my husband and a couple of friend. We were stting in the yard of my house and we looked at the stars. Suddenly, three perfectly circular balls of identical sizes of a gilded and coppered color crossed the sky at an unimaginable speed and in total silence. They were a little larger than a balloon. What especially struck us apart from this unusual color was the perfect linearity of their trajectory a little as if the balls were attached the ones to the others which was not the case. There was approximately 1 meter of distance between each one of them. On the other hand the distance which separated us from them is rather hard to evaluate especially two years later but it seemed rather close, nearer than a satellite.

I so much often think at what we saw that evening that today two years later I write to you for two reasons:

Was this phenomenon already reported to you? and do you have an explanation?
