To follow upon report FR0027 "wingless object", I send this email to you to report a rather similar experience, in Brittany too, but on January 3, 2001, early in the morning.

I had just spent a few days in a hiring in Brittany with some friends, at the time of New Year's day, and for professional reasons, I left the first of our group of friend. I was to join my Normandy, where I reside and work. At that time I directed a small communication company. I thus decided to take the road again on January 3, 2001, very early (leaving wife and child with my friends) in order to reach my home in the morning. On the motorway in the direction to Rennes (at approximately 40 km of this city), at approximately 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning, I noted a very important deceleration, our pace fell to 50 km/h approximately. In sich a situation, one wonders whether there was a car crash further on. We were on a long straight line, slightly in descent, the sky was quite cleared, some rather low clouds were visible, and a beautiful dark sky, but no apparet reason to slow down so much. While looking up, I saw a white plane, its profile, passing at very low altitude perpendicularly to the motorway from the left to the right, "coming out" of a cloud. I thus drove gently, the eyes fixed on this plane (and on the road because the cars were "jammed" more and more). It was moving silently (I opened the window) and at a slow pace (Altitude estimated 150 to 200 m, distance 500 m, apparent speed between 50 and 100 km/h). Several thoughts almost at the same time: the slow road traffic is due to this aircraft, all the cars had to see this strange plane and be amazed at the sight/the speed is extremely slow for a plane of this size */the plane does not have wings nor rudder (or I do not see them, but at this very low speed and this distance, I should have seen them)

* Detail of the object: an airbus profile, to which one would have removed the wings, the tail and put at the place of the tail another airbus nose at the back. Color: bright white. A line of 8 or 10 gray port-holes of rather round form. No noise, no smoke, no side-lights, no logo and no typography of any kind.

The scene lasted less than one minute thirty. The wingless and tailless plane continued to move at the same pace towards the right, and then the line of cara started to accelerate when the plane left the front vision field. I thus followed the traffic while continuously observing the plane at my right. While passing into another cloud, the plane "lit" the cloud, as if the plane had its own light, then the phenomenon disappeared.

I later contacted my friends to share my sighting with them. I also testified on a website a few months later, but without answer or spcific explanation. I never read similar testimony until today.

I would like to read other testimonys for this day of 2001, other witnesses inevitably saw this phenomenon.
