Hello Mr Gross,
I live in Pau and this morning I was very early in the middle id studying for my oral examination for the French baccalaureat. It was 2:45 a.m. and I had enough so I went to bed. The window shutters of my bedroom were almost entirely closed except seone twenty centimeters at the bottom, so that lying in bed I saw the sky. At this point in time I saw high in the sky in the North-East a remote, luminous object, similar to a star, but which had several red lights on it which flickered. I initially said to myself that it must be a plane, for there are many planes in the sky of Pau, and many have twinkling red lights and there is an airport in Pau. But its behavior puzlled me very soon. It was zigzaging in all the directions, and changed direction from one moment to another without one being able to foresee it. It remained static and made tremendous accelerations. The red lights were only visible at times. Sometimes they flickered on all the surface of the object. The latter appeared overall round but I saw it poorly. It seemed me that I saw what could make think of headlights. You saw rays of light which left the object and lit the sky around. All this lasted a quarter of hour and I add that there were many stars in the sky, and that they did not move at all and did not show these characteristics. At the end of this quarter of hour I went to the bathroom and I spoke about what I saw with my mother, who did not want to join the observation even if she said to me that she believed me. On returning, I looked again at the object but it was motionless, like a star during almost half an hour. I was very disapointed, but I then noticed that it was not motionless and that it went up, but slowly this time for it disappeared behind the shutters from my window whereas my position did not change and I had to bend to continue to observe it. As it became too hard to see I had enough of that and I definitively closed the shutters.
