Subject: 2 luminous dots which disappear Hello There must be tens of possible explanations but I would like to report the following observation of yesterday evening to you. At about 10:00 P.M., close to Caen (Basse-Normandie), I looked at the sky and the stars. I am used to locating satellites. Suddenly, I see two luminous dots, not flickering (similar to satellites, same speeds) going in the same direction, from East to West while I was looking towards the North, their trajectories being slightly shifted and one seeming to follow the other (5 to 10 seconds later). I find that odd. My eyes follow the first, and all of a sudden it disappeared. At this time, with the rather clear sky, I expect to see it appear again. I watch the second one, and arrived at the same place where the first disappeared, it also disappears. I did not see them anymore. I keep watching the place of disappearance. I can distinguish a dark zone there between stars. Insulated clouds? I do not know. Anyways, they never reappeared. What may be the explanation? Revolving satellites? [Firstname] [NAME] |
