Subject: Sighting report Hi This incident occured on 22nd October 2005 at around 10.30pm. We were staying on a campsite at Vezac, just south of Sarlat, France. We saw what appeared to be two concentric circles of lights in the sky. The outer circle was comprised of around 20 spots of projected light. The inner circle was made up of about 10 such spots.The circles rotated in a clockwise direction although my wife saw the inner circle as more of a spiral movement. The whole thing moved in a clockwise pattern around the sky, passing almost directly over our heads. It was not accompanied by any sound. The night was cloudy and now a then the lights were partially obscured by small low level clouds. Our immediate thought was that this was the result a a laser display of some kind, but our remote location and the fact that the lights were partly obcsured by clouds put doubts in our minds. It remained visible for at least half an hour and maintained the same pattern throughout. We would very much appreciate any comments or possible explanations and information on any similar reports.
