Hello,

My name is [Firstname] [NAME] and I stumbled across your website when perfrming some searches on the ufologic phenomena. I am aged 25, I am a data processing specialist in Paris and the reading of your website and various testimonys which it colects there made me want to tell of the phenomenon of which I was the witness several years ago.

I think that we were in 1991 or 92 at the time of the phenomenon. I was to be between 11 and 12 years old but I remember it as if it were yesterday. I think besides that my interest for the UFOS and all that did not stop growing since this event.

It was the month of August and I was on holiday in the south of France, in Opio, very near to Cannes. There was a shooting stars spotting night planned there this evening and with friends we had decided to set us up in the residence where we were to look at the sky. We saw a whole lot of shooting stars this evening there but at one time my glance was attracted to the horizon to an orange luminous point which evolved horizontally and at a moderate speed. I first of all thought that this was a plane (although no flickering at all was visible) and then the point started to describe a very strange trajectory. It now evolved in zigzag, making loops in the sky at times and I then caled my friends who also stared to observe the phenomenon. We now thought that this was a firefly or something in this kind. Opposite us was the bell-tower of the village, at approximately 600 or 700 meters, and we realized that it was not about a firefly when the luminous point passed... behind the bell-tower. Once reappearing, the luminous point described totally unimaginable curves for a plane and zig-zagged to and fro in the sky. Then it was motionless one moment and in one shot it accelerated in straight line above us to finally disappear behind the building which was located in our back. Needless to say that after that we all looked at each other in awe to make sure everyone had seen that and that none us had dreamt it. But we had indeed all followed this phenomenon and in spite of our youth we knew all that we had just seen a UFO. All in all, the observation lasted approximately 5 to 7 minutes, not more.

I do not know if there had been any unspecified testimony or article in the local press talking about this phenomenon at the time, but today still I remember it perfectly and that marked much my faith:) I unfortunatly lost sight of the friends with whom I was the witness of the phenomenon and I never really spoke about it to anyone except my best friends and my family. I attached a photograph of the village to this email, with the bell-tower in question. I did not find a better quality unfortunatly but this photograph correctly represents the sight we had from our location. The village s located on a hill of a hundred meters height. the road which passes downwards from the village is in a small basin formed by another hill where we were.

That is my testimony:) Wether people believe me/us or not does not matter per se. The fact is that this experiment marked my life and I am on you will understand this well as a anthusiast of the matter. As all people who were UFOS witness, I am sure that I saw what I saw of course but what comforts me and makes me really sure is the fact of not having been alone to observe that.
