Subject: Sighting report I just accessed your UFO reports site for the first time and was astonished to read one made for the date of March 27, 2007. It's the only time I've ever read a description of something which I saw as a young child. It probably took place in the late 1930's so I'm wondering why the 2007 sighting is so readily classified as a satellite. I'm 75 years old and can still picture in my mind what my mother and I saw on that night. Her response to my question as to what it was...."probably Mars." It was bright red and a perfect oblong shape and motionless. I have no idea how long it had been there when I became aware of it but know it was still there when we went back inside the house after my mother finished hanging laundry. I know it was summer as she would hang wet clothes on the outside line at night to dry the next day while she was at work. This took place in the City of Hayward in California, USA. |
