Subject: Weird displacement Good evening, Here is my observation of Friday 06/16/2006 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the park of the castle of Chantilly before the first shoot of the famous nights of fire of Oise. Weather : clear sky with some cirrus Witness : my colleague observation: fastand perfectly zigzaging displacement at sharp angle of a luminous point (like Venus) from East to West observed during 10 seconds approximately. the angle of the zigzags were of 45° and the lines between two angles were of a distance corresponding to a lunar diameter. The luminous point dimmed while passing to the top of the cirri and became again very luminous once the clouds passed, it disappeared suddenly. The space traversed compared to the zenith was of 60° on my right and 30 ° on the left. We were very numerous at this superb evening (several thousands of witnesses and 400 Gendarmes on location), I think that several people observed this phenomenon. Best regards. [Firstname] |
