Subject: testimony on an object observed on Saturday, August 11, 2007 Hello, I have just stumbled on your website, which look serious on the UFOs matter, so I decided to give you a testimony of a very recent observation by two people (I and a friend) on toulouse. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 11:30 p.m., the sky was very clear above Frouzins, western southern suburbs of toulouse where I live. I decide to observe the stars, as I lenormously enjoy this. I am set with a comfortable sleeping bag on my terrace, and I observe shooting stars which are numerous there that night as well as the passing planes (apparently air route above Toulouse) At about 25 hours, I see an object which crosses the sky at my vertical according to a course 300-330 degrees (NNO) at a very regular and constant speed, without change of direction, a little faster than a plane in altitude. Its shape was like a modern delta wing, with long and frayed wings. No light luminous dots emanated from this object and it was completely silent Its color evoked to me that of an object clearly lit by the sodium lamps of the city, (like the small clouds of average altitude at night) what gave him an orange chestnut color. Thinking at no time of a ufo, I interpreted this object as a large bird, as if it were about a duck at a hundred meters of altitude, noticing however that he did not flap wings! I tried to see a wing flap until its disappearance behind my tree, but without result: the object seemed to glide. It so happens that the next day I am invited at a friend's Sunday midday, and I had already forgotten this weird appearance when, without prior discussion, my friend tell me that yesterday evening, he went with his 10-year-old daughter, to observe shooting stars, and saw a delta wing pass at about midnight. Reconsidering my curious bird of the day before, we compare color speed forms and silence of the flight and the course: we realize that we observed the same phenomenon, he in Aucamville, in the north of Toulouse. The direction observed by my friend was rather westernly Unfortunately, not having noted the precise hour, it is difficult to determine the speed, but we agreed that the surface of the object seemed to reflect the orange light of the city: neither a delta wing (with less than 10 km of the airport of Blagnac and not being able to glide on 30km between Frouzins and Aucamville), nor could a duck match with the observation, which lets think of a higher object, reflecting the lights of the city. It is possible that you publish this testimony on your wesite, because it might perhaps awake other testimonys on this date. Best regards. [firstnametown] Since, being an engineer by background and imaginative, this observation caused in me a reflexion on the type of engine which would make it possible to explain the enormous accelerations which were reported during certain flights of UFOS. |
