Subject: Sighting Nantes 10/10/2005 Good evening, I wanted to report to you on a surprising observation of which I was (alone, unfortunately) the witness and of which I quickly noted the characteristics: I was on the phone, in my apartment, I hear a plane, automatically I look through the half-opened window (a velux), and I see two luminous balls which cross. Surprised, I open the window completely, in the foreground there was indeed a plane but much further, two dull luminous balls (these were those which I had seen crossing) making a kind of driven out cross (but overall direction western south/south) so a trajectory which is not at all rectilinear, it was like a kind of ballet... I lost sight of them when they were too far away to be seen (considering they moved). The point is, that they did not seem to be "in space" (like a star) but rather "in the air" (like a plane). Unfortunately, I do not have any concept which enables me to evaluate their altitude (moreover in the same way I do not have any idea to know which was the "size" of the phenomena in question considering that I do not know at which distance they could have been). I am quite frustrated not to have had a video camera at hand, but I would on the other hand like to know if there were other testimonys (although I do not have any existential engagement about the seen phenomenon, I would be satisfied to know that it was seen by other people, and I would be even more satisfied of course, to know of what it was...). Sighting time : +/- 09:00 p.m. Type: 2 dull luminous balls apparently distinct (in the sense that the movement of one did not seem to determine or be determined by the other). Strictly speaking no physical object seen, only two "lights", no contour which I could distinguish. No apparent noise. Or else, noise covered by the presence of a plane (which engine was heard perfectly on the other hand). The balls "followed" the same direction as the plane (western south/south), but seemed very distant compared to it (and so they did not seem related in one way or another to the plane in question). General direction : South/South West. Duration of observation : +/- 20 seconds Movements: sort of dofight, circling, fast, ascending, descending, turning, veering on the right, on the left, crossing, uncrossing. |
