A squadron of flying saucers in the Italian sky

For several days, squadrons of "flying saucers" have invaded the sky of Sesto San Giovanni, a small town in Lombardy, near Milan.

The phenomenon, humorously reported by the Italian press, under ironic titles such as "Now the UFOs (unidentified flying objects) are exaggerating", or "The Milanese have left, the Martians are coming", would only have remained one of the many sightings of flying saucers reported each summer, if the mysterious U.F.Os. had not been repeatedly photographed by a professional photographer from Sesto San Giovanni.

The photos, published yesterday by the press, show a series of thirteen light spots aligned and motionless in the night sky. Another, a close-up of one of the spots, taken with a six hundred millimeter telephoto lens, consists of two large white balls on a black background, surmounted by a luminous line.
