An engineer of the Simca-Chrysler factories, of Poissy, Mr. James Boulanger, resident of Vernouillet (78), was in the Plaine de Chanteloup (78), in company of his son, when he saw, towards 08:15 a.m., an unknown machine, equipped with two powerful headlights, which moved at 300 meters of altitude in direction of Andresy.
After having extinguished its headlights successively, the apparatus disappeared at the horizon.
Mr. Boulanger alerted the gendarmes at once, who did not find any trace on the location.
An investigation was opened.
