The extraordinary light which the Stirling residents saw on a recent Sunday night and which they described as being probably due to an experiment with an airship was, we are informed, also observed by two Waipori residents. To them it appeared to be travelling from the direction of the Waitahuna heights and ultimately disappeared over the Lamerlaws.
