VALENCIENNES. -- Traces of U.F.O. were seen [sic], the other night, by a resident of Denain, near Valenciennes.
"It was approximately 07:30 p.m. when I saw 2 luminous objects in the sky, which directed in direction south-north", stated Mr. France Pavenne, who specified that the machine, which moved in silence, could not, in no case, be a plane. Still according to the witness, the 2 balls, of an orange gleam and sometimes dazzling, did not give the impression to follow a well defined trajectory.
Thus, in less than one month, unidentified flying objects appeared, on several occasions, in the area of North, in particular in Maubeuge, Hullush, Féchain and Denain.
