An unidentified flying object (UFO) almost collided with a Chilean airliner, without causing any damage, apart from the intense emotion felt by the crew.
The pilot of a Boeing from the Chilean company "Lan Chile", traveling from Punto Arenas, in the far south of the country, to Santiago, immediately alerted the control tower of Punto Arenas, the field where he had just left. He claimed that the mysterious UFO had approached the Boeing, remained for a moment at its height, at fifteen thousand meters above sea level, almost colliding with it, then suddenly gained altitude before disappearing. He further specified that the "flying saucer" diffused a bright yellow light.
According to the control tower, the presence of no other plane was recorded in the area while the Boeing was there.
