NEVERS. -- (from our private correspondent) -- A new fact comes to enlarge the thick file of the visits of extra-terrestrials.
At 3 a.m. on July 17, a motorist, whose name the gendarmerie did not want to divulge, reached the hamlet of Asvin on departmental road No. 2 between St-Colomb and Ch teauneuf-Val de Vargis , when he clearly saw, 3 or 400 meters in front of him, at very low altitude above the road, a UFO having the shape of a luminous and green globe.
When the witness hit the craft with the beam of his headlights, it rose above the ground and disappeared with dizzying speed in the direction of the North-East.
The witness, who is a man in his fifties, a ballistics engineer, described his misadventure to the gendarmerie.
