While taking their services at the Chausson car body factory in Maubeuge, three workers saw a U.F.O. ten meters above the ground. The orange object, surrounded by a yellow halo with black portholes, was according to witnesses semi-cylindrical in shape and large in size, with an approximate diameter of 15 meters and a radius of six meters.
The three witnesses observed for nearly a quarter of an hour this mysterious craft which, without stopping, pivoting on its axis, moved from left to right, before rising slowly in the sky then moving away west at breakneck speed.
