Why wouldn't there be
a flying saucer in Halluin?

A prankster tried on Saturday evening to pretend that a flying saucer appeared at Mont d'Halluin but was not successful.

Around 11 p.m., residents of rue Walter Dumoulin, at a place called "Le Puits des Chats" were returning to their home, when one of them was intrigued by the presence in a tree, located on the edge of the road, of a bulky object that he had never noticed at the place.

An agile climber was quick to take down a simulated craft that in the sky, could have been mistaken for a flying saucer as they are described: it was actually a canvas of 1.50 meters in diameter to which 17 small balloons were attached.

The ridiculous find was put away for the night and in the morning, the discovery was announced to the peacekeeper, Maurice Grimonprez, neighbor of the district, domiciled 7 bis Chemin de Neuville who, respecting the instructions, reported to the Police Commissioner.

As a witness so wisely said, the prankster would have been better inspired by paying the amount of the costs occasioned by the assembly of his buffoonery to the collection for the elderly.
