UFOs observed in France

BM/SAD Paris - UFO week in France: Mysterious lights in the sky, suspicious-looking tracks in an orchard and extraordinary noises.

20 inhabitants, approximately, of the village of Prauthoy in Eastern France (about 30 km north of Dijon) believe that they have seen or heard a UFO. And in the small towns of Sedan and Carignan in North Eastern France (about 10 km from the Belgian frontier) a UFO was seen by 150 persons, allegedly.

At the same time strange phenomena occurred in Prauthoy. "Last Monday towards 11 p.m. we and several other people heard a noise, which was more powerful than that of an airplane," the mayor, Philippe Badet, says. In his opinion the noise came from a flying object, but no aircraft. One of the inhabitants saw two red lights and a white one in the sky, which were standing quite still.

Then on Friday tracks were found in an orchard. The grass had dried up in two parallel lines, 25 meters long and 70 meters wide. The tracks were located 8 meters apart, with a triangular mark in between. The police took photos, but an analysis of the soil gave no results.

Already on Monday night a triangular UFO had been seen over the Ardennes. The unidentified flying object was observed at a high altitude first, but later on lower down, making rounds over approximately 30 towns. It was observed near Sedan and Carignan above all. The civilian and military air control centers of the region didn't notice any unidentified flying object, though.
