Toulouse. -- "It's for fear of ridicule that I haven't said anything for three years. I didn't want people to think I was crazy."
This 25-year-old man, a recent Toulouse resident, says: "It was in March 1974, at the time I was the manager of a restaurant in Fleurence-du-Gers. After closing my establishment, I had gone to Laujuzan, near Nogaro, by car, to see my fiancée who is now my wife. On the way back, around three o'clock in the morning, while I was driving at 90 km/h, my car stopped all alone. I hadn't even braked. I was seized with tremors, and I saw a being that was not a known man or a known animal. He was standing, measuring maybe 90 cm. His feet were very big and he had arms so long that I couldn't tell if they had hands. When my car stopped he had his back to me."
Immediately after, he headed for the ditch into which he descended, only the upper half of his body remained visible. He was entirely green and had pointed ears on top of the head, very black eyes. When he finally looked at me, I felt like a wave, followed by two others very close together. I was really scared then. I looked away. Soon after, my engine started up again. I turned around and went back to Nogaro where I arrived without noticing anything unusual. I didn't see any UFO, no suspicious lights, but I'm sure what I saw was an alien. Obviously, I wondered if I had been the victim of a hallucination, and the next day I went to see a doctor in Tarbes. He made me pass a neuro-ophthalmological examination and an electro-encephalogram: it turns out that I am normal."
