NANCY. -- Several people, including two taxi drivers, declared having seen, around 12:15 a.m., luminous phenomena above the agglomeration of Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle).
One of the witnesses, Mr. Bernard Gout, claims to have observed, in the company of a client, two huge oval orange discs, the size of two or three cars, motionless and silent in the sky.
A third disc of the same color arrived at high speed and placed itself between the first two, he says.
Another driver, Mr. Quirin, saw from another place in the city two balls of fire, motionless and silent, orange in color.
After five or six minutes, the phenomenon suddenly disappeared. A Belgian truck driver and a German tourist are said to have witnessed the same scene.
It seems that U.F.O.s. definitely have a predilection for the Nancy region because already, last week, the night watchman of F.R.3. had seen an orange disc which had been immobilized for several minutes.
