The "VERONICA" Group gave the alert in "Midi-Libre" for February 16: our region is currently criss-crossed daily by these mysterious "unidentified flying objects."
We remember that on Monday 14, around 11:30 p.m., a strongly luminous sphere was observed at very low altitude above the roof of a villa in Nîmes near the ring road.
The next day between 7:35 p.m. and 7:37 p.m., Mr. André Martinez, residing at Impasse Jean Bouin in Nîmes, observed near Tavel a star from the small dipper which seemed to go off it. Its shape becomes rectangular, its luminosity remaining yellowish-white. Then the object became round or spherical, in size increased, its luminosity was very white, intense. It was moving horizontally with a jagged trajectory.
After this white light went out, a red trail made up of several red balls, at least one of which was blinking, continued to move in an upward trajectory towards the north.
"VERONICA" considers that the quality of this observation makes it possible to conclude without hesitation that it was indeed a U.F.O.
