A resident of Le Mans who was at his window states to have seen in the sky, at an altitude from 300 to 1000 meters two weird craft going towards the west. These apparatuses of greenish gray color, reached a speed definitely higher than that of the modern interceptors. No sound of engine was heard and only a trail of smoke remained a few moments after their passage. Then the apparatuses disappeared in the low clouds.
