Brest, August 30 (A.F.P.). -- The Radio-Conquet station picked up at 11:55 a.m. (G.M.T.) a message from the trawler "Henri-Joseph" of Douarnenez, reporting that it had seen a plane fall into the sea. It specified that this aircraft, which appeared white, had flown over the boat and crashed into the waves about 3 minutes later. The nationality was not noticed by the crew of the "Henri-Joseph."
The searches carried out immediately did not make it possible to find any trace of the aircraft.
The trawler was then located at 45 degrees 40 north and 8 degrees 45 west, about 180 miles southwest of Brest.
The French Navy, alerted, announced that no aircraft was reported missing. The same was true at the English stations.
