"Gigantic and swinging in the sky", the UFO appeared to a dozen fascinated young people, during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Honfleur: Telling the story of this encounter of the third kind at the police station of the place, the young people specified: "the white and oval craft was advancing in the sky with a light inside". Breathing short, their eyes glued to the sky, the witnesses saw it suddenly "ignite" while a "kind of gateway descended towards the earth (and), the object disappeared towards the south, in the nearby countryside."
It is said there were other witnesses to this visit by the extra-terrestrials, but they did not make themselves known to the police.
