Three balls of fire in the sky of Digne

Are we going to see a "remake" of the Valensole affair? Reliable witnesses saw three balls of fire yesterday evening in the Provence sky above Mezel.

"It was around 6:45 p.m., says our correspondent who lives in Chaffaut, near Digne. We were with a few friends. Suddenly I saw a light and at first I thought that it was a plane in flames.

"We then rushed outside. In the sky, there were three green balls of light, very close together and of decreasing size. It could very well have been a single craft.

"The three balls plunged slowly from east to west, at a slope of 30°, a bit like a landing plane. The phenomenon lasted about twenty seconds before disappearing from our sight.

Other people, our correspondent continues, were certainly also witnesses because there were several cars on the road at that time."

And before taking my leave. he adds: "If you learn anything, be sure to let me know. Until now, I didn't believe in UFOs, but now I'm wondering."

In Port-Vendres too...

An unidentified flying object, moving in the sky above Port-Vendres (Pyrénées Orientales) was seen Tuesday afternoon by a dozen people.

This object had the appearance of a yellow ball and was, according to testimonies, at an altitude of approximately 500 m. The phenomenon, which lasted around thirty seconds, was observed by several motorists traveling on the RN-114 near this town. As it moved from the sea towards the Pyrenees where it disappeared, the UFO left behind a brilliant trail.
