The article below was published in the daily newspaper Le Provençal, Avignon issue, France, on January 26, 1977.
According to the telephone testimony of two young women employed at the Plâtrières de France, a U.F.O. walked yesterday morning on l'Isle-sur-Sorque. It was 7:30 a.m. when these young women, on their way to work, saw the luminous hexagonal object which was moving slowly and noiselessly, at the height of a helicopter, according to the direction of Cavaillon Le Thor. The phenomenon lasted 5 minutes before disappearing. Fortunately for the two young people, who were only 5 minutes late. These assured us that we weren't dreaming.
Note that, unlike in Avignon, there was no fog on l'Isle-sur-Sorgue. If other people have seen the U.F.O., we would be very happy to collect their possible testimonies.
