AVIGNON (C.P.) -- And here again we talk about UFOs. Yesterday evening, two young people of Avignon saw, if not a flying saucer, at least a flying object which was certainly not a plane.
It was 07:30 p.m. Francois, aged 17 and half, and Michel, aged 19, both lodged at the Working Youth hostel of Champfleury in Avignon, left the establishment when their glance was suddenly attracted by a strong gleam in the sky, in direction of the North.
"It was like two very brilliant headlights which flickered" they say.
It was observed during a good quarter of an hour and the object did not move, then it moved towards the South, while going down and leaving a yellowish trail behind itelf.
Whereas they moved towards our agency, two young people still saw towards the South, but low on the horizon, a ball of orange color and size of a small balloon.
UFO? Flying saucer? or weather balloon?
Perhaps other people managed to make an identical observation yesterday evening.
