A "green light" moving at very high speed flew over the Marseille metropolitan area and went out when it hit the sea, offshore, a few moments later, many witnesses noted yesterday evening.
At the regional air traffic control center in Aix-en-Provence it is also indicated that this light was reported by aircraft commanders operating in the regions of Marseille, Nice, Carcassonne and Bordeaux. Testimonies are also pouring in from across the region. Given the extent of this geographical space, the Aix-en-Provence Regional Control Center was told that this light must have been produced at very high altitude, either by a meteorite or by a satellite entering the atmosphere and disintegrating there.
