VALENCIENNES. -- Traces of O.V.N.I. were seen the other evening, by an inhabitant of Denain, close to Valenciennes.
"It was approximately 07:30 p.m. when I saw 2 luminous objects in the sky, which moved in the direction south-north" said Mr. France Pavenne, who specified that the machine, which moved in silence, could not, in any case, be a plane. Always according to the witness, the 2 balls, of an orange gleam and sometimes dazzling, did not give the impression to follow a well defined trajectory.
Thus, in less than one month, unidentified flying objects appeared, on several occasions, in the area of the Nord, in particular in Maubeuge, Hulluch, Féchain and Denain.
