MANRESA (Barcelona) (A.F.P.). -- A flying object was seen Friday evening by many people above the fields at about fifteen kilometers in the north of Manresa.
The craft, of oval form, emitted a powerful whirring sound as well as a sharp gleam, alternatively red and yellow. Performing various maneuvers, the "UFO" approached to about sixty meters of some of the witnesses, then quickly disappeared.
Note: judging from the meager description in the newspaper, this saucer might of course have been a helicopter.
