DIGNE (from our agency). It is still under the shock of emotion that Mr. Devicenzi, butcher in Annot, told the extraordinary mishap which he lived Saturday evening. "I do not know how it came, nor how it departed."
It was 7 p.m. when the butcher returned from a round to the village of Braux. Suddenly, the road was violently lighted and Mr. Devicenzi sees a "ball of fire" above his vehicle.
The very luminous flying object "escorts" the butcher's car during a few kilometers, then disappears.
"I was really not reassured," the witness still comments on, "and I cannot describe this object otherwise thanof round form and spreading an extraordinary light."
This testimony, Mr. Devicenzi entrusted it to the gendarmes of Annot who drove again, yesterday Sunday, the butcher's route, however without recording tangible evidence.
