An air traffic controller at the Canadian airport of Baie Comeau (350 kilometers east of Quebec) claimed to have seen an unidentified flying object (UFO) at the end of the afternoon, we learned in Montreal.
According to Mr. Yves Baudouin, spokesperson for the control tower services, several other witnesses declared having observed a ball of fire moving over a distance of 40 kilometers above the north shore of the Saint-Laurent in the vicinity of Baie Comeau.
Representatives of the Canadian Ministry of Defense suggested that it was "probably a meteorite".
