Several unidentified flying objects (U.F.O.), which remained for nearly an hour and a half in the sky over Lerida (Catalonia) on Saturday, responded to the blue light signals given to them by the police.
It was before dawn that strange craft emitting a strong light were seen above Lerida by numerous witnesses, including a police patrol.
The UFOs were flying at low altitude and the police signaled to them with the flashing lights on the roof of their vehicles. Immediately the U.F.O.s. responded with intermittent light signals, police say.
The UFOs disappeared with the first light of dawn.
