COPENHAGEN. (A.F.P.). -- A strange luminous phenomenon was observed for more than an hour, Monday evening, in the sky of Copenhagen.
Airport personnel and several aircraft pilots arriving in the capital noticed the presence in the sky in the direction of the South-East of a motionless luminous "big spot".
The Danish civil aviation directorate has hypothesized a luminous target placed at a very high altitude in Eastern Germany for aerial shots. Indeed, the radars reported a great air activity above the D.D.R.
Danish press photographers managed to take excellent shots of the "bright spot" which disappeared intermittently to reappear immediately and always in the same place.
