Is this a bird? A Scud missile? Superman? A plane? The new Chinese spacecraft? A flying saucer? Who knows. Anyways, our photographer Serge Lapointe discovered this intriguing thing when he re-examined the photographs he shot at the time of the departure of the steamer Queen Elizabeth 2 Tuesday. The photograph was taken at 02:23 P.M., in the old harbor of Quebec, when the respectable steamer circumvented the point of the island of Orleans. The photographer says he did not notice anything, neither saw nor heard anything when he was on the premises, and that he discovered "the thing" only on his return to the Newspaper. The photograph was taken using a 300 mm lens mounted on a Nikon D-1 digital camera. Did anybody see the same thing?
