In a village near Mâcon, two farmers, wanting to play a prank on one of their friends, disguised themselves as "Martians."
A prior conversation had led them to believe that their unsuspecting friend would greet such an encounter with enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, and the two pranksters received such a beating that one of them, with several broken ribs, had to be taken to the hospital. He swore, though a little too late, that he would never try such a stunt again.
