A U.F.O. above Blargies?

Here is the puzzling testimony of a driver

Are "U.F.O." flying above our area?..

That's what Mr. and Mrs. Casano of Saint Germer might think after the adventure that they lived in the night from lat June 25 to 26 at 01:15.

According to their account, Mr. and Mrs. Casano, returned from Amiens, in Gournay via Aumale in their car of white color.

It is on this portion of road from Aumale with Gournay (D.316) that they say to have lived an extraordinary adventure...

Arrived in Abancourt (at approximately 01:15) on the D.316 [Departmental road], they say to have seen in front of them and at a certain height, a white cloud, shining, from which emanated luminous rays of white color and which turned like on an axis located behind this cloud - this rotation being fast but jerky.

The machine, whose rays emanated, then appeared, and moved towards the car, its beams rotating more and more quickly.

It followed the mazda on the side, flying over the electric wire bordering, by places, the D.316, which were lit by the luminous rays of the U.F.O. in question.

This game lasted approximately ten kilometers (from Abancourt to Campaux) and although Mr. Casano, frightened, stopped in the course of the travel, at the exit of Blargies, by lighting his "hazard warning lights" to await a vehicle which he had seen by its headlights in his rear view mirror and which he had hoped its driver would stop.

The craft (U.F.O.) had then moved away progressively at the approach of this second vehicle which did not stop like Mr. Casano had hoped - but that he followed at once, hoping that, by two, the danger would be lessened.

The driver of this second vehicle, seeing itself followed by the Mazda (was he afraid or was it his destination?) then left the D.316 at a deviation on the right before Formerie.

Mr. Casano found himself alone on the road in direction of Gournay.

At once afterwards the craft (U.F.O.) approached his car and started to follow it again.

Seized with panic, Mr. Casano accelerated, in vain, the U.F.O. always remaining at his height and this until Campaux where he stopped again very close to the church, hoping to be more in safety there...

At this time, the craft (U.F.O.), its luminous rays continuing their rotation, went down towards the vehicle, hovering above the house opposite where Mr. Casano had stopped.

The machine remaining silently in lift and without any air volume displacement, slowed down its rotation which - after a short stop - then changed direction.

During this short while, Mr. Casano managed to observe that the rays of light of the machine were laid out "squared" on several lines and a surface that was estimated to be wide as the base of a house (that is approximately 100 square meters).

Panicking again, Mr. Casano set out again full speed on the D.316 towards Gournay; the craft followed him still a few kilometers then quickly disappeared towards Saint-Samson-la-Poterie.

The gendarmes of Beauvais and Formerie were, in the morning of June 26, informed of this odyssey.

Note: at the time and place of the sighting, the moon was at the azimuth of 149° 52' 42.1" and an elevation of 20° 51' 23.1".
