On the night of Monday to Tuesday, around 00:30 a.m., Count François de Clermont-Tonnerre, mayor of Bertangles (Somme) and his wife noted the presence in the sky above the wood of Montonvillers a few kilometers from Bertangles, two ball-shaped flying objects appearing to perform a maneuver.
Both UFOs gave off a red light. While one of them remained motionless, the other descended to about fifty meters from the ground and remained there for about ten minutes. It was then that it climbed vertically and stood next to its "twin".
The two then disappeared on the horizon above the wood of Montonvillers.
